Lady Reportedly Lands In Police Custody After Purchasing Stolen Phone From Jumia

Onome Patience Ogbodu

A Nigerian man identified as @justifiedkwame has taken to social media with a long narration and cry for help on behalf of his kin identified as Onome Patience Ogbodu.

According to @justifiedkwame, the lady is currently in the custody of the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) in Lagos, following her arrest in Benin after a stolen device was found with her.

The Twitter user claimed that Ogbodu’s lover who is based abroad ordered the device, a Tecno Camon 11 for her from Jumia for the price of N46k, on April 18, 2019.

However, after five months of using the device, it developed a fault which caused Ogbodu to approach a phone engineer for repairs.

This, however, led to the arrest of Ogbodu, who according to her kin is in the custody of the police in Lagos.
