U.S. Court issues warrant of arrest for Air Peace boss, Allen Onyeama

Hours after report of alleged $20m fraud went viral, the embattled chairman and CEO of Air Peace, Allen Onyema’s troubles seem multipled as the United States District Court of the Northern District of Georgia issued a warrant of arrest against him.

WITHIN NIGERIA had earlier reported that 35 days after the Chairman and CEO of Air Peace recieved was honored by members of the House of Representatives, Allen Ifechukwu Athan Onyema has been indicted over an alleged bank fraud and money laundering scheme.

WITHIN NIGERIA learnt that the Magistrate of the said court has authorised the U.S Marshals Service to take Mr Onyema into custody in regards to warrant signed.

The extradition treaty between Nigeria and the United States which allows the extradition of suspects in both countries facing criminal charges, might be invoked following the issuance of the warrant of arrest.
