BREAKING: DSS Finally Releases Sowore After 4 Months In Detention

Omoyele Sowore, publisher of SaharaReporters, has been released from DSS custody on Thursday.

WITHIN NIGERIA recalls that the former Presidential candidate, Sowore was arrested by the State Security service (SSS) on August 3 ahead of his planned #RevolutionNow Protest, he has remained with the DSS since then despite serials of court orders which asked the Nigerian government to release him.

Also, Ijeoma Ojukwu, a judge of the federal high court in Abuja, awarded the sum of N100,000 against the Department of State Services (DSS) for disobeying an order for the release Saharareporters Publisher, Omoyele Sowore.

Meanwhile, Sowore was released from DSS custody following the court order on Thursday
