VIDEO: Aggrieved Bayelsa community hold Shell workers hostage

Some workers of Shell Petroleum Company have been allegedly held as hostages by members of Benesede community in Bayelsa state.

According to LIB reports, the video was sent to them by a reader whose brother in-law happens to be a staff of the company where aggrieved community reportedly staged a protest within the facility owned by the oil corporation on Thursday, December 19th.

She further added that the phones of her brother in-law have been switched off and he is currently being held alongside his colleagues.

According to her, the company is yet to rescue her in-law or others held hostage.
