Tambuwal Swears In 4 New Perm Secs

Sokoto state governor, Aminu Waziri Tambwal on Wednesday swore in Shehu Bandi, Usaini Gobir, Amina Muhammad Tekada and his Senior Special Adviser on media, Abdullahi Sarkin Danko as permanent secretaries.

Tambuwal, at the Sokoto Government House, charged them to be dedicated in their new assignment, just as he divulged that their appointment were on merits.

According to the governor, the elevation of all those appointed was a welcome development hence its a manifestation of their commitments to the service of the state.

Tambuwal in his remark said “Getting to the zenith of his career is the prayer of every civil servant. The position is very challenging. I know that all of you have been very well exposed to the rudiment of administration.

“We are doing our best to try to ensure that whatever we do comply with the requirements of merits”.

Tambuwal who warned against lobbying for presumed juicy postings, noted that, he will not hesitate to reverse the appointment of any one found in that shoes.

“Accept where you are posted to go and work. Do not lobby anybody. If anybody comes to me for lobby, I will reverse the appointment”. Tambuwal assured.
