Operatives of the Katsina State Police Command have arrested a middle-aged simply identified as Samalia for chaining his wives and subjecting them to inhumane treatment in Katsina state.

The wives identified as Fatima Salisu and Hadiza Musa have been chained by their husband for over 10months in his home situated in Yannadabaiyye village in the Rimi Local Government Area of the state.

According to the police, Samaila’s evil deeds came to light when Hadiza’s mother paid them a surprise visit.

Hadiza’s mother did not see her daughter but pleaded with the husband, Samaila to take away a sewing machine she bought for her daughter since she is not using it.

Samaila did not allow her mother in law to take the machine which eventually degenerated into a fight.
