Inspite of the exchange of verbal missiles between the Abia Police Commissioner and Pro-Biafran groups, Corpses of Nnamdi Kanu’s parents, Eze Isreal Kanu and his wife Ugoeze Sally have arrived Afaraukwu in Abia state for their burial ceremony scheduled to hold today February 14.

Pictures of the corpses in two Rolls Royce hearse have gone viral and the corpses of parents of the fugitive leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have arrived the community.

Recall that Nnamdi Kanu has apologized to Abia State’s Police Commissioner, Ene Okon over threat to hunt down his children if the burial ceremony of his parents holding today February 14 is disrupted.

According to the IPOB leader, he made the threats after going from extreme sense of sadness after losing both of his parents to an extreme sense of anger. Kanu added that he also considered that mourners at his parents’ burial ceremony might be in grave danger if the event is disrupted.

He said;

“In this time of immense grieving and anger, I made threats against the children of the Police Commissioner and other Nigerian officials on my radio programmme, Radio Biafra.

“This was wrong and I sincerely apologize. Children should always be off-limits.

“I hope shining a global spotlight on the actions of the Government will prevent them from inciting violence against my people. In doing so, I went too far.

“It is my great hope that the Indigenous People of Biafra can mourn in peace on Friday and can live in peace every single day forward.”
