The residence of PDP candidate during the November 16, 2019 governorship election and now Governor elect, Senator Douye Diri has been attacked by angry protesters suspected to be members of All Progressives Congress (APC) over the Supreme Court Judgement which ousted the candidate of APC, Chief David Lyon on Friday.

Recall that the angry protesters have earlier stormed and barricaded the streets of Yenogoa on Friday in protest of the judgement and later went violent destroying property of some PDP chieftains.

The angry protesters destroyed the windscreen of cars parked at the premises of the Governor-elect, doors and windows at the residence.

It was learnt that people who were around at the premises said they had to scamper for safety, when the hoodlums came visiting.

They also attacked the public library belonging to the member representing Yenagoa and Kolokuma/Opokuma federal constituency in the National Assembly, Prof Steve Azaiki, PDP Secretariat in Yenagoa and radio Bayelsa station.
