Veteran Nollywood actor, Kayode Odumosu popularly known as Pa Kasumu, has died after a protracted illness.
Pa Kasumu died on Sunday afternoon, 1st of March, 2020 at the age of 66.
Announcing the demise, actress Foluke Daramola Salako wrote:
“BREAKING NEWS! Our model veteran actor Pa kasunmu Kayode Odumosu finally takes a bow.
It is with so much heavy pain in our hearts that we regret to announce ur in Para, that our #paraafricafoundation model actor Pa kasunmu has given up the ghost after a brief illness. The news was broken by a close source that stays around the hospital he gave up the ghost. We will keep u updated with further information on this”
Prior to his death, the late actor who was partially blind revealed his sickness is spiritual while seeking for prompt spiritual assistance. He was quoted saying;
“For now, I don’t need any help. All I need is prayer. All I can say about my sickness is that it is spiritual. That’s why I said it requires prayer. I’m currently at a church camp for its annual congress. God should take care of me. I will stay at the camp till the congress ends.”
Pa Kasunmu recently received aid via a special scheme tagged ‘NOLLY VETERANS SOCIAL INTERVENTION PENSION SCHEME.’
Actress Foluke Daramola who announced the development also shared photos of the ailing actor as she revealed how they were able to provide a wheelchair for the actor. She also thanked people who have been donating to the course.
