Talented songstress, Simi’s mother,Jedidiah Ogunleye has in a recent interview revealed how she used to boast about her daughter’s virginity in church.
Jedidah disclosed this in snippets of the new show, Simi is about to launch on her YouTube page titled ‘Stoopid Sessions’.
She said:
‘Even in my church, I used to tell people daughter is a virgin oh and she’s going to marry a virgin.’
Then Simi countered her saying,
‘You used to boast about my virginity?’
She replied:
‘I’m telling you’.

Jedidah Ogunleye, now Mrs Akinsola who was Head of ushering unit of Daystar Christian Centre for about 20 years,got married for the second time in 2018.
The wedding was attended by close friends and also senior pastors of the Church, Nike and Sam Adeyemi.
