Coronavirus: Gov. Akeredolu inspects infectious disease hospital, says Ondo is ready for any eventuality

The Executive Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu inspected a purpose built infectious disease hospital on Monday in Akure, the capital of Ondo state.

This is coming four days after a coronavirus (Covid-19) case was confirmed in Lagos State, Nigeria by the Federal Ministry of Health.

There is a great tension in the country over fears of widespread of the deadly diseases as some cases have been detected in some states.

Reacting to the development, Akeredolu said that the hospital was set up in readiness for any eventuality as the coronavirus scourge creates anxiety across Nigeria.
