Catholic faithfuls in Anambra stage protest against killings in Nigeria

Following the incessant killings in different parts of the country, Catholic faithfuls under Awka diocese in Anambra state have stormed the streets to protest against the killings.

Recall that there were report of incessant killings such as bandits attack, Boko Haram insurgency, kidnapping and others which have led to loss of lives and properties.

According to report, Catholic faithfuls marched in a rosary procession from Ekwueme square where the prayer protest kicked off to St. Patrick’s Cathedral Awka.

The Catholic faithfuls carried placards with different inscriptions to protest the incessant killings such as “stop killing Christians, enough is enough” among others.
