Actor Zubby Michael rants, call out Organizers of AMVCA for allegedly snubbing “pillars of Nollywood”

Just some celebrity fashion designer, Toyin Lawani who slammed AMVCA over their choice of best dressed male and female celebrity, Nollywood actor, Zubby Michael has also taken a swipe at the organizers of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards over an alleged snub of “pillars of Nollywood”.

The actor who maintained that most organizers of the award are Yorubas, described it as a “joke and highly political”. Zubby also wondered why the original owner of “Living in Bondage” was snubbed while its remake got 8 awards.

Apart from Zubby, Nigerian celebrity stylist Toyin Lawani seems not pleased with is the best dressed male and female winners,,Mercy Eke and Mike Edwards. Taking to her Instagram page she expressed her displeasure in the choices of the organizers saying their best dressed is a joke.

According to her, aside those she styled there were other people who were dressed better than Mercy and Mike therefore she doesn’t agree with their choice.

She wrote “Most of my looks didn’t make it to the Red carpet but all their Best Dressed are jokes ok lets even forget about my own dresses that nana lady and Demola looked nice as hell see everyone is entitled to their opinion like the rest of the world , but when tiannah talks it means she’s spoiling other people’s work , common give yourself and your village people sense.”
