Daddy Freeze reacts after Williams Uchemba warned against berating Pastor Adeboye over his Coronavirus video

OAP Daddy Freeze who is known for speaking against men of God, has reacted to a video by actor Williams Uchemba, where he criticized those who attacked Pastor Adeboye over his prayer against coronavirus.

Recall that yesterday, RCCG general overseer, Pastor E.A Adeboye assured people that as far as a person is hidden in the secret place of the Almighty, no virus can come near such a person.

But his comment stirred up reactions as Nigerians expressed their displeasure over the video. They argued that it is unfair for the clergyman to insinuate that those currently infected by the virus are not hiding under God’s shadow.

Williams Uchemba, replied by berating them about speaking against the man of God. He shared a video with the below captioned:

“1 Timothy 5:1-3, Hebrews 13:17, Ephesians 6:1
And many more scriptures that talks about how we should treat our elders, our parents and also spiritual leaders , and the consequences that comes with disobeying this instructions yet the youth of this generation shock me everyday by the way they talk and treat this people. I’m scared for this generation, YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING TO YOURSELF UNTIL LATER. BE DIGGING YOUR OWN GRAVE WITH YOUR HANDS. I WEEP FOR MY YOUTH GENERATION”.

However, Daddy Freeze who reacted to the actor’s post stated that there is nothing wrong in rebuking an elder when he is wrong.

He wrote: “@williamsuchemba Good morning bro.

Although I agree that it’s wrong as Nigerians to insult our elders, the scriptures are clear on addressing Elders in the church and in the faith as a whole, when they are wrong, make mistakes or are sinning. Furthermore, there is nothing wrong with rebuking elders publicly as long as it’s done politely. Paul rebuked Peter publicly in Gal2:11-17 In Matthew 23, Christ was less than 33 years of age when he could clearly be seen addressing teachers of false religion with insults, calling them blind fools and sons of vipers. These people he insulted were in their 70s, 80s and 90s. If as Christians we are supposed to be Christlike, why are we afraid to emulate Christ in this regard?
