Coronavirus Lockdown: Hungry man faints at Iyana School Bus Stop in Lagos state

Amid lockdown of states as a result of Coronavirus outbreak in Nigeria, a video of a yet-to-be identified young man who reportedly collapsed along Iyana-school Bus Stop, Itsekiri in Lagos has surfaced online.

WITHIN NIGERIA had earlier reported that President Muhammadu Buhari ordered a lockdown in Lagos, Abuja and Ogun State respectively following the outbreak of Coronavirus in Nigeria.

Inside the 5-minute video, a large crowd can be seen attending to the man while they brought him a plate of food to eat so that he would have strength to trek to his destination.

The onlookers can be seen lamenting over the poor condition of the young man, condemning the decision of the government to lockdown citizens without providing sufficient palliatives for them.

A voice can be heard shouting that the young man is not a positive case of Coronavirus rather he collapsed because of hunger.

The onlookers contributed money for the young man for feeding and he was later pulled infront of a shop to rest for a while after eating the food they gave to him.

While resting in front of the shop, one of the onlookers lambasted the young man and people who vote for selfish and despotic leaders at the poll. He further disclosed that people are dying of hunger and appealed that lockdown should be relaxed.
