Nigeria records 91 new COVID-19 cases, total now 873

Lagos records three COVID-19 deaths including Medical Doctor

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 91 new positive cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country. NCDC disclosed this in a tweet on Wednesday evening, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 873.

NCDC, on its verified twitter handle on Wednesday evening, said 74 of the new cases are in Lagos, five in Katsina, four in Ogun, two in Delta, two in Edo, one in Kwara, one in Oyo, one in FCT, one in Adamawa.

The tweet reads, 91 new cases of #COVID19 have been reported;

74 in Lagos
5 in Katsina
4 in Ogun
2 in Delta
2 in Edo
1 in Kwara
1 in Oyo
1 in FCT
1 in Adamawa

As at 11:25 pm 22nd April there are 873 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria.
