Video: COVID-19 responder accuses police officer of damaging his car over bribe in Lagos

 

An alleged bribe-seeking police officer has been accused of damaging the car of a COVID-19 responder in Lagos.

According to the responder,identified as David Nwawuba, he was going to repair the airconditioners in an isolation center when he was attacked by the police officer in Iponri, Costain in Lagos.

David claimed that the officer damaged his car with a metal, even after informing and showing him his pass as a Covid-19 worker on emergency work.

Angered by the action of the police officer, he decided to challenge him….

Sharing the video as an evidence, Davido wrote;

“After I show them my pass working for covid19 and that we are on an emergency but the police man still want me to give him bribe which I refuse and now he has hit and damage my car with a metal because of bribe, as if the federal government pay any Nigerian citizens for this lockdown all we get is wicked act from the government but for this one I die here, God please come and save your people in the hands of this government in this lockdown. And this happen at “iponri” by costain” He wrote.
