Photos of 3 UNIPORT students who were killed and buried in a shallow grave surfaces

Pictures of three 400 level student of University of Port Harcourt, Rivers state who were kidnapped and killed by unknown gunmen have surfaced online.

WITHIN NIGERIA had earlier reported that days after some 400 level students of the University of Port Harcourt were kidnapped on April 7, they have been found dead in Eleme, Rivers state.

The late undergraduates identified as Joy Adoki, Nelson Nwafor and Fortune Obimba were declared missing by the police on April 19 after Adoki’s brother, Umor, filed a compliant at Eleme Police Division.

According to report, the victims were kidnapped on April 7, on the order of one Bright who told the kidnappers that the victims betrayed him after money was paid into the account of one of them.

It was learnt that the kidnappers contacted their families and demanded ransom which the families paid yet the kidnappers failed to release the students as promised, but instead killed and buried them.

After investigation, the Anti-Cultism Unit of Rivers State police command arrested Bright alias Nelly who also led investigators to Friday Akpan and Emmanuel both resident in Eteo, Eleme.

Friday Akpan confessed that he and his group members killed and buried the three undergraduates after raping the female among them, Joy Adoki.

He also took policemen to a shallow grave in Etoo, Eleme Local Government area of Rivers state, where the decomposed bodies of the victims were recovered.
