APC Vice Chairman, Daughter Abducted In Kaduna

Unknown gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted the Vice Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna State, Shu’abu idris Lauje alongside his daughter.

The victims were kidnapped on Wednesday at their home at Kwanar Zango along Zaria-Kaduna Express.

According to a source close to the family, “the APC vice Chairman was kidnapped along with his Daughter at around 1:30 am this morning in his house at Kwanar Zango along Zaria-Kaduna Express.” He said.

Meanwhile, there were unconfirm reports that some bandits had invaded some communities in Kajuru local government area during which eight persons were reportedly killed on Wednesday.

Bandits were also said to have killed about 15 persons in the same LGA, according to the state police command, a day before.

The state has been experiencing various forms of attacks in recent times which has prompted the police to issue a strong warning to those perpetrating crime.

Meanwhile, when Kaduna State Police Command’s PPRO, ASP Mohammed Jalige when contacted for confirmation, he failed to respond as at the time of filing this report.
