VIDEO: Nigerian lady who has sickle cell anaemia and 2 chronic illnesses speaks after surviving COVID-19

A Nigeria lady identified as Danielle Jinadu, who survived the dreaded coronavirus has spoken out after beating the deadly virus despite having sickle cell anaemia, inflammatory bowel disease and athritis tendencies.

According to scientific reports, people with underlying conditions are at a higher risk of dying from Coronavirus. Danielle Jinadu lives with 3 chronic illness and, as such, she was considered a high-risk COVID-19 patient, but she fortunately survived.

Danielle Jinadu took to her Instagram page to thank her body for always fighting, no matter what is thrown at it.

She also spoke to BBC. During the interview, Danielle said what helped her stay positive and beat the deadly virus was the belief that’s she’s “intrinsically a survivor.”

In other news, Lagos State has intensified home treatment for coronavirus patients with mild symptoms as positive cases continue to rise.

Wednesday night, out of the 284 new cases announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), the state recorded 199.
