BREAKING: Niger relaxes COVID-19 lockdown

The Executive Governor of Niger state, Abubakar Sani Bello has relaxed lockdown orders in the state.

This disclosure was made by the Governor while receiving the technical committee report for the establishment of Niger COVID 19 molecular testing laboratory in Government House, Minna.

Abubakar disclosed that all commercial activities can resume but schools are to remain closed while civil servants are to remain at home unless those on essential duties.

In a related story, WITHIN NIGERIA reported that operatives of Niger State Police Command have arrested a Nigerian man identified as Peter Ayemoba for allegedly defiling his two daughters.

WITHIN NIGERIA learnt that the suspect, Peter Ayemoba who is a resident of Rafin Sanyi area in Suleja allegedly sexually assaulted his daughters, now aged 20 and 23, between 2013 and 2019.

Reacting to the sad incident, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state identified as ASP Wasiu Abiodun made this disclosure while addressing journalists in Minna on Thrusday, June 4
