Question1: Who is Klag Ali and how did he come about the name???

Kingsley Lucky Abednego George, better known by my stage name Klag Ali, I’m a budding
Nigerian singer and songwriter. The name Klag is an extraction of the first initials of all my names, a successful move to overcome the temptation of coming out as another something “Kid”. Shouts out to Starboy Wizzy for inspiring a whole generation.

Question 2: What drew you into the music industry?

I’ve always been an ardent lover of music. From purchasing my very first piece of music (Wizkid’s Starboy album) down to yelling in my first ever recording, which never came out anyway. It’s always and will continue to be the Love of being able to express myself in the only I can do best.

Question 3: Who are you inspired by???

I’m inspired by a whole lot of people. I wouldn’t want to make a list because it will go on and on. But the truth is I listen to a wide range of people.

Question 4: Explain your creative process??

The process is really simple, once I’ve connected and aligned with the idea I’m trying to mold. I
create basically from experiences. I don’t ask for an instrumental, then stay back home and begin writing.

At least not for now. I prefer being right there in the studio, just vibing with the idea or story I’m trying to paint firmly pinned at the back of my mind. Because I’ve come to realize that I always try recreating the first energy I sent towards any sound I heard.

So if we are creating, I always want to be there. I Write, give it a shot at the mic, edit and continue the process until it the idea or story is well communicated.

Question 5: What is your music genre???

Simply put, I’ll say I’m a fusion artist. I try best to express how I’m feeling at any time without
putting any limit to where I could go with it. I love to explore, so I wouldn’t want to box myself and say oh I’m this genre or that. Every genre could feel good and it’s just the good everybody is trying to express. The good every listener can connect with.

Question 6: How long have you been in the industry??

I’m still very new to the music scene. I released my first official song Opium, back in May 2019.
My journey is still fresh.

Question 7: Do you have any recent work(s) of your own???

Yeah I do, I put out a single sometime back in January, Down 2 Luv produced by Killer
Producer. The song expresses the fears of someone who’s been scarred before in relationship at the face of an impending one, asking the significant other if he/she is really down to love. Not wanting it to be games and all. The song is available on all streaming platforms, and I am currently working on another song due to be out by the 12 of June, its titled “My Feelings”.

Question 8: Which musician would you love to collaborate with????

If I can, I’ll say all of the musicians I pay close attention to. I’m talking Tay Iwar, Wurld and a
long list of others.

Question 9: What message do you have for your fan?

Love God and the family given to you to embark on this journey called Life. Keep your head up
and give life your best shot.

Klag Ali is ready to carve a niche for himself in a very talented industry, with his delivery, style of music, and great persona. He is one artiste music lovers need to watch out for.
