"Innocent until proven guilty,” D’banj reacts to rape allegation

Popular singer, D’banj who was accused of raping Seyitan Babalola has again reacted to the rape allegation leveled against him, but this time, he responded with a  dance video.

The Embattled singer and song-writer shared a video in which he was spotted dancing and singing to one of his hit songs.

Sharing the video, he wrote:

“Innocent until proven guilty…., STOP SOCIAL MEDIA TRIAL 🏛🏛🏛⚖️⚖️⚖️ #SAY NO TO RAPE AND HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATION”

Recall that Miss Seyitan Babatayo, the Nigerian lady who accused singer Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, better known by his stage name D’banj of raping her in a hotel room on December 30, 2018, was reportedly detained at Sodipo Police station, Ikeja.

According to a journalist, Kiki Mordi, Seyitan was arrested and was denied any legal representation since her arrest.

Her family members were also denied access to her, the report said. But she was later released.
