Five things you probably do not know about the new EFCC boss

The appointment of Mohammed Umar as acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Friday has been approved by President Muhammadu Buhari.

This approval was announced after Ibrahim Magu was suspended as the head of the anti-graft agency over allegations of fraud and diversion of recovered funds.

Until his recent appointment, Umar was the head of operations of the EFCC.

Besides Umar being the new head of the anti-graft agency, here are other details you may probably not know about him:
