Enugu has in recent times suffered a high rate of abduction of Catholic clergymen.

In other news, Brig.-Gen. Joe Komolafe (rtd), the Commandant of the Ekiti State Security Network code-named Amotekun, has said the corps will use spiritual powers and modern security techniques to combat banditry, kidnapping and other crimes in the state.

Komolafe made this known at Efon Alaaye during a sensitisation tour of Ekiti West, Efon Alaaye and Ijero local governments Monday.

The Amotekun commandant in Ekiti said the security outfit would use ancient Yoruba tactics of securing territories and fishing out criminals from their hideout.
