The tragic end of a popular fashion designer, Oladipupo Tomide has been announced.
25-years old Tomide has died after being involved in a car accident. It was gathered that he was going to Akure, Ondo State, in a commercial bus yesterday, August 7, 2020, when the bus collided with a trailer along Ore road.
Sources claim Tomide and one other passenger survived the accident and were rushed to a hospital in Ore where he died at midnight because the doctors were allegedly on strike and no one attended to him.
Friends have now taken to social media to pour heart warming tributes to the deceased and call on government to intervene in the health sector.
In related development, yet-to-be identified people reportedly dead and six others injured in an accident on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, two months ago.
WITHIN NIGERIA learnt that the accident involving a Mazda bus and a motorcycle took place at about 9:30 am on Tuesday, April 21 around the new Kara Market on the Lagos -Ibadan Expressway.
Reacting to the tragic incident, the Public Relations Officer, Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE), Mr Babatunde Akinbiyi confirmed the incident to newsmen in Abeokuta on Tuesday, April 21.
