Police arrest four men for defiling a 15-year-old orphan in Delta

Tragedy as one Umar Abubakar reportedly lost his life during a heated argument at a tea joint in Aisami quarters, Gwale Local Government Area of Kano metropolis.

WITHIN NIGERIA learnt that the deceased was allegedly stabbed with a sharp iron by one Auwal Balarabe currently in police custody.

Speaking on the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, DSP Haruna Abdullahi Kiyawa confirmed it on Wednesday.

The PPRO said the victim died at Murtala Muhammed Specialist Hospital after being rushed by the police for treatment.

Kiyawa said the commissioner of police said he has directed for discrete investigation, that the suspect would be charged to court for prosecution.

In a related story, WITHIN NIGERIA reported that men of the Kano state police command have arrested one Haruna Ya’u popularly known as Dangaru for allegedly killing his friend identified as Sani Ibrahim following heated exchange over N500.

WITHIN NIGERIA learnt that the incident happened at Dan Tsinke Quarters of Tarauni Local Government Area on Monday, August 16.
