A 35-year-old woman identified as Ms Blessing Emmanuel was delivered of a baby boy under the flyover bridge in Ajah area of Lagos state on Saturday.
WITHIN NIGERIA learnt that the incident happened at about 4:30p.m on Saturday.
It was also learnt that the native of Cross River state who is homeless in Lagos was rescued by officials of Lagos State Ambulance Services from Eti-Osa.
As at the time of filing this report, both mother and baby were said to be fine, and have been taken to Island Maternity.
Speaking on the development, Director-General, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA confirmed the incident.
He also appreciated the Ambulance Services’s intervention, adding that mother and child were responding fine to treatment.
