BREAKING: Laycon Declared Winner Of BBNaija 2020

After 70 days of mind blowing entertainment, the most popular reality Tv show in Africa (arguably); the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) 2020; the Lockdown edition, grand finale is here at last, and  has announced its winner after 10 weeks of thrilling and keeping fans all over Nigeria, Africa and possibly some part of the World glued to the show.

Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) season 5 reality show commenced on Sunday 19 July, 2020 and has come to an eventful end despite the COVID-19 pandemic, today, Sunday 27 September, 2020, leaving most fans jubilating.

With many controversies and issues been raised all through its airing time-frame. The reality TV show led trends in the social sphere; giving the blogshere juices to spill while fans were ‘greatly’ entertained making the lockdown period somewhat ‘light’.

WELL, the SHOW has come to an END(but the DRAMAs will surely continue- my thoughts though); announcing its WINNER.

The WINNER of the BBNaija Lockdown Show is LAYCON.

It premiered from 19 July 2020 on Africa Magic and the live feed on DStv channel 198 and GOtv channel 29. Ex-housemate Ebuka Obi-Uchendu from season one returned as host.

Like the previous seasons, MultiChoice Nigeria raised the stake this year, for the winner of the Big Brother Nigeria (BBNaija) Lockdown edition 85 million naira.

While Laycon emerges the winner of the BBNaija 2020 Lockdown, here is a breakdown of his N85million worth of prizes;

N30 million cash prize; a two-bedroom apartment courtesy Revolution Plus; a top of the range SUV from Nigerian automaker, Innoson Motors; a trip to Dublin courtesy Guinness; home appliances courtesy Scanfrost.

Others are a trip to Dubai packaged by Travelbeta; a year’s supply of Indomie noodles, Munch it, and Colgate toothpaste; a year’s supply of Pepsi, a branded chiller, trip to watch the UEFA Champions League finale; and a brand new Oppo mobile smartphone.

This season’s grand prize is an increase from the previous edition, which saw Mercy Eke walk away with N60m worth of prizes.
