Drama as roadside mechanic reportedly flees with customer's car in Imo

A roadside mechanic simply identified as Chukwudi who was called upon to repair a faulty car reportedly fled with a car at Nkwola-Eziama community in Imo State.

This was disclosed by a gospel music minister who shared the incident on Saturday, September 26.

The gospel singer said one Mrs Chinyere Ezeji said that their car broke down along Amala/Eziama road on Friday. It was towed to Nkwola-Eziama where a roadside mechanic identified as Chukwudi fixed the car.

As at the time of filing this report, details about the incident are sketchy but it was learnt that the roadside mechanic drove off with the car to test run it and and never returned.

“As we were traveling yesterday for a burial in our village with Rev Cyril Nwaelele’s car, the car developed fault along Amala/eziama road. Some good Samaritans helped us to tow it to nkwoala-eziama, where we got a mechanic who involved this so called electrician who corrected the error and made away with the vehicle. From information gathered the Man’s name is chukwudi from omoku. Please any body with any vital information that will help us to recover this vehicle should please indicate”
