The 2020/2021 is over two-weeks-old and from the games played, a rough idea of how the season is going to be can be drawn. What’s standard is that this season will be more competitive with several teams strengthening their squads. The transfer window is not yet shut and much can still change within a short time. However, top bookies and analysts have already given a prediction of how the season is going to end. Both new and existing bettors can check out these William Hill promotional offers.

Aside from the EPL, you can even place a bet on different other leagues and sports including popular UK and US sports. How does this season pan out? Will Liverpool retain the title? Will Manchester City provide better competition? What chance does Chelsea stand after a huge overhaul? Who are getting European slots? And who is getting relegated? Below are the predictions for the season;

The bookies favor a battle between the champions Liverpool and Manchester City. Liverpool has strengthened the squad that won the UEFA Champions League and English Premier League by adding the likes of Thiago Alcantara who look to give them an extra gear to challenge once more.

Pep, on the other hand, has been boosted by the arrivals of Nathan Ake and Ferran Torres in an otherwise top-quality squad. If the Kalidou Koulibaly transfer can be completed, then Manchester City seems the favorite to win the premier league title this season.

Another hotly contested battle is on the top four positions for competing in the UEFA Champions League. With Liverpool and Manchester City predictably occupying the first two positions, the bookies and several analysts have predicted a Chelsea, Manchester United, and Arsenal battle.

Chelsea has splashed cash during the window as they look to build on their fourth finish during the last season. More than six signings have been made including Timo Werner, Kai Havertz, Hakim Ziyech, Thiago Silva, Ben Chilwell, Malang’ Sarr, and Edouard Mendy.

Manchester United have not been so active as compared to the other rivals with only one signing made. However, judging from their project restart run of results, they are favoured to finish in the top four positions. Arsenal did not have the best of seasons after finishing in the 8th position. However, with several additions made and Aubameyang signing a three-year deal, they are touted to provide rivalry for these positions. However, many bookies place them to finish at fifth.

Another battle to keep an eye on is on the other side of the table. This season saw the entry of Leeds United, Fulham, and West Bromwich. Of the three, Leeds United has had a positive start with Liverpool given a hard time on the first day. Last season saw Aston Villa and West Ham United survive and they might once more be on the relegation basket this season.

West Bromwich Albion and Fulham are among those viewed to drop to Championship at the end of the season with the third team being either Aston Villa or West Ham.
