Buhari’s aide, Ahmad denies having a hand in Governor Ganduje’s media aide, Yakasai’s suspension

Bashir Ahmad, an aide of President Muhammadu Buhari has denied planning the suspension of Salihu Tanko Yakasai Dawisu, special adviser on media to Kano state governor, Abdullahi Ganduje.

WITHIN NIGERIA had earlier reported that Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje has suspended his Special Adviser on Media, Salihu Yakasai, for criticising President Muhammadu Buhari over End SARS protest.

Yakasai was suspended by the Kano state Governor after he called out the Buhari-led government over lack of empathy amid the ongoing protest and unrest across the country.

Many have insinuated that presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad was behind his suspension but Ahmad has denied having a hand in the suspension

Bashir Ahmad stated that Yakasai will remain his friend as long as they breath.

He tweeted;

Don’t have a hand in what happened to my brother Salihu Tanko Yakasai (Dawisu) as some tweets appeared on my TL suggested, he is a friend not from yesterday, but from many years, and we will remain so, as long as we all breath.
