Nigerians insinuate Multichoice has been hacked as they watch DSTV, GOTV for free during maintenance

South African owned television network; DSTV and GOtv have been assumed hacked by some of its viewers.

According to reactions from DSTV/GOTV customer on social media, viewers can actually watch all channels free.

However, Within Nigeria can not confirm as at the time of filing this report, if the stations were really hacked or just experiencing some system glitch/ upgrade.

However, Multichoice had announced a planned maintenance, but did not include free-to-air as part of the impact of the maintenance.

Meanwhile, Anonymous, a famous ‘hacktivist’ which has been fully active since it declared support for the #EndSARS movement has over time attacked top Nigeria government website and also Twitter account.

As of the time of filing this report, the foremost hack group are yet to make any comment or claim responsibility.

As it lingers, viewers are glad its happening as they enjoy choiced-channels.
