Tension in Jos community as angry youths loot fertiliser, farm inputs

The Plateau Agricultural Development Programme (PADP) in Dogon Dagi has been invaded by angry youths in Jos.

This is coming barely hours after the state government imposed 24-hour curfew on two Plateau councils on Saturday.

WITHIN NIGERIA learnt that the angry youths including women are carting away bags of fertiliser and other farm inputs.

According to report, hundreds of people mostly youths and women were seen carrying and loading the agricultural inputs out of the premises for keep and possibly selling to prospective buyers.

Recall that thousands of people had earlier invaded government warehouses and looted palliatives meant to cushion the effects of COVID-19 in the state.

Hoodlums have also gathered in front of Federal Secretariat insisting on bringing it down in search of food.
