Ambassador Haruna Ungoggo, Nigerian Ambassador to Jordan has died on Sunday Morning.
Ambassador Ungoggo was appointed as ambassador to the hashimate Kingdom of Jordan and the Republic of Iran by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The diplomat died at a government hospital in Garki, Abuja on Sunday, a family source said.
Alhaji Haruna Ungogo was said to have died after a brief illness at 70.
The source said arrangements are been made for his remains to be taken to Kano for burial this evening.
It was reported that Alhaji Haruna Ungogo was former Secretary of Kano State government and ex- Rector Kano State Polytechnic.
