Few weeks after angry residents broke into the palace of Rilwan Akiolu, the Oba of Lagos situated at Lagos Island, to cart away COVID-19 palliatives and loot the entire royal residence, the Monarch has put the controversial events behind him as he made public appearance on Sunday, November 8.

Oba Rilwan who also had his staff of office, the symbol of authority carted away by hoodlums was among the leaders who converged to dialogue over the recent #EndSARS protest that shook Lagos economically.

The Peace Dialogue was organized by leaders of thought in the South West to address the issues that led to the recent nationwide protest, which ended in violence that shook the region to its foundation.

Meanwhile, Ibrahim Gambari, Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari was also in Lagos on Sunday on similar mission.
