Video of a drunk policeman identified as Garba Salisu whose rifle was reportedly seized has surfaced on social media.
WITHIN NIGERIA learnt that the incident happened at CBN Junction, close to Abuja police headquarters.
In the viral video, the policeman, Garba can be seen sitting by the roadside and he was surrounded by passers-by mostly young men as a yet-to-be identified person can be seen pouring water on his head.
The passers-by while asking the drunk policeman how the rifle was collected from him disclosed that the police officer got drunk around 4pm.
The passers-by also decried the carelessness and irresponsibility of the said policeman and wondered why a policeman responsible for safety of the people would be drunk by 4pm.
