JUST IN: Ondo Rep, Adefisoye dumps SDP for the ruling party, APC

Honorable Tajudeen Adefisoye representing Idanre/Ifedore federal constituency in the House of Representatives has dumped the Social Democratic Party (SDP) for the ruling party, All Progressives Congress (APC).

This defection was made known by Hon. Adefisoye who contested and won his seat on the platform of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in a letter he addressed to the speaker which was read at the green chamber on Wednesday.

The speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila said the federal lawmaker, Adefisoye cited crisis rocking in the Social Democratic Party (SDP) as the reason for his defection to the ruling party, APC.

WITHIN NIGERIA had earlier reported that a federal lawmaker from Ondo State, Tajudeen Adefisoye, has ranked the Nigerian Army high following recent successes against Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists.

At 36, Adefisoye is one of the country’s youngest parliamentarians in history, representing Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency.

The lawmaker believes with sustained intensity, the troops of Operation Lafiya Dole would surely cleanse the Northeast of fleeing terrorists scampering for safety.
