Simisola Ogunleye simply known as Simi, a popular Nigerian singer, has been named the most-streamed female artiste on audio streaming platform, Boomplay.

This was made known in a statistic released by the online music platform for the end of the year.

The pop singer sat comfortably on the top of the list of the most listened-to female singers in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Coming in second is popular gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo, while Teniola Apata also known Teni Makanaki followed in third.
