In a related story, WITHIN NIGERIA reported that the Niger State Government through a verification exercise carried out for its civil servants has uncovered how workers fraudulently paid themselves salaries above their level.

This was disclosed by the state’s head of service, Salamatu Abubakar on Thursday, September 11.

Abubakar said some of the fraudulent practices include an office messenger receiving the salary of a high court judge and a fake commissioner of agriculture getting salaries for the office for two years.
