They enjoy demonstrating to their throngs of followers that they have some sort of supernatural ability or are able to discern God’s genuine will in every circumstance.
Some Nigerian pastors or prophets have predicted the results of the general elections as they approach in 2023. Some pastors claimed to have seen visions, while others said that God had revealed who would win the 2023 presidential election to them.
However, all of these predictions focused on the three main candidates for the election: Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP).
WITHIN NIGERIA highlighted the names of well-known pastors and their corresponding forecasts for the results of the 2023 presidential election.
Prophet Bisi Olujobi
Bisi Olujobi, who is the founder of Wisdom Church of Christ International in Lagos, predicted that the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, will win this year’s presidential election.
This was made known by the septuagenarian prophet in 40 prophecies released in a statement on January 3rd.
According to the cleric, the G-5 Peoples Democratic Party governors led by Governor Nyesom Wike will end up in disarray.
Prophet Odedoyin Olawumi Ezekiel
Prophet Odedoyin Olawumi Ezekiel, who is the president of Christ for All Souls Ministry declared that former governor of Lagos State, Bola Ahmed Tinubu will emerge the Nigeria president come 2023.
This was made known by the prophet before the primaries in his church in Oshogbo, Osun State.
He declared that Tinubu will emerge as All Progressive Congress presidential candidate despite party plot against him.
The mouthpiece of God in his prophecy did not stop there, he said the Jagaban of Borgu will defeat Atiku Abubakar to become Nigeria president in 2023.
Prophet Emmanuel Chukwudi
Prophet Emmanuel Chukwudi prophecised that the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar will win the 2023 presidential election.
According to the general overseer of King of Kings Deliverance Ministry Worldwide, it is a revelation revealed to him by God since 2025.
The prophet maintained that the way Atiku emerged as the PDP flagbearer alone shows that there is divine hand of God in it.
Pastor Adewale Giwa
The Senior Pastor of Awaiting the Second Coming of Jesus Christ Ministry, Pastor Adewale Giwa, prophecised that the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Atiku Abubakar will win the 2023 general election.
According to him, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the only one among the aspirants of the All Progressives Congress, APC, that can give Atiku a bit of hiccup in his aspiration to lead the country.
The Pastor who stated this during an interview maintained that northern leaders are rooting for Atiku due to his large followership in the north, as he added that Nigeria was created for northerners.
‘Atiku will win but he can’t change anything. Even if APC should come out with Tinubu, Atiku will win. Tinubu is the only person that can give him few challenges as such. Even Osinbajo will be a walkover for Atiku.
Reverend Shalom Kelvin Akinbo
Reverend Shalom Kelvin Akinbo, the Head Pastor of Doers Nation International Church, in Akure, the Ondo State capital, prophesised that Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, has been revealed to him as the successor to President Muhammadu Buhari.
But he warned that there must be intense prayers to avert confusion in the land “because I saw a man without head but wears a crow.
“I am seeing a crown that was given in the eleventh month and this crown is been celebrated after the general election and this is an organized conspiracy we must pray against,” cautioned Prophet Akinbo, who also warned that anything outside of a free and fair election in next February’s presidential polls, where he sees the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as the only candidate capable of upstaging Obi, would plunge Nigeria into “total chaos as the battle is between Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi.”
Rev (Dr.) David Oyediran
Ahead of 2023, Rev (Dr.) David Oyediran has spoken of the presidential ambition of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Reverend Oyediran said God told him Tinubu would rule Nigeria constitutionally and there will be peace and great improvement in the nation’s economy.
The general superintendent of Glorious Vision World Outreach Ministries Lagos also recalled some past prophecies he made that eventually came to pass.
He said;
“God said that among the few people that can provide credible leadership and restore hope to the people of Nigeria is Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Pastor Christopher Olabisi
Kwara-based Christian cleric Christopher Olabisi has predicted victory for the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar Prophet Olabisi said the Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi will lose the forthcoming poll.
The Christian cleric also prophesied that Atiku would build a good foundation for his successor that everyone will know as a visionary president.
Rev Jerry Nwachukwu
The lead pastor of the Bible Base Miracle Assembly in the Nkpor area of Idemili north local government area of Anambra state predicted the chances of Peter Obi in the 2023 election.
The cleric in his 2023 prophecy predicted that the Labour Party presidential candidate will be the winner of the poll.
Nwachukwu also warned that Charles Soludo, the governor of Anambra state, should be wary of betrayal in his cabinet.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome
Ahead of the 2023 presidential election, the General Overseer of Christ Embassy Church, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome revealed that an angel spoke to him about the leading candidates.
Oyakhilome who spoke at the Loveworld praise-marathon on Friday said the name of Nigeria’s next president is in the Bible.
The cleric said the first candidate is under the influence of a devil.
”The Lord gave him a name. The name is Jackal. He is influenced by a demon. This demon is mocking Nigeria. But he’s been cut off.
He further stated that if the second candidate wins, he will sell the country, ” In the spirit, the second candidate, if you let him get into office, you will have no country. You would have sold your country.”
He, however, added that the third candidate is scared of winning.
”The third candidate, there’s fear of winning. He is afraid to win. But the lord will give him wings to fly! HIS NAME IS IN THE BIBLE. Hope you’ve gotten your PVC?” he asked.
