Dozens killed in Nigeria bus park explosions
On this date, 18th of March in 2013, forty-one (41) people died in a suicide car bombing that struck a bus station in Kano.
The blasts destroyed several buses filled with passengers who were waiting to leave the station in Sabon Gari, an area mostly inhabited immigrants from Nigeria’s largely Christian south, according to Reuters news agency.
According to reports, a car laden with explosives rammed into buses and detonated.
A mechanic in the area identified as Tunde Kazeem disclosed that there was a huge blast at the New Road motor park.
“The blast was followed by billows of black smoke and there was a lot of confusion with people rushing out of the motor park, some of them with blood on their clothes.”

On this date, 18th of March in 2017, seven Boko Haram insurgents and two Cameroonian soldiers reportedly lost their lives in a bloody clash in Soueram, Cameroon.
According to report, Boko Haram insurgents invaded the military post and caught Cameroonian soldiers off-guard which resulted into a bloody clash.
Soueram is north of Fotokol, Cameroon which is bordered by Nigeria to the west

According to reports, three localities in Benue State namely; Egba, Abogbe and Ologba hired militiamen which attacked the Okokolo area inhabited by Agbaduma people.
