PHOTOS: Meet Nigerian pastors God told ‘Seyi Makinde will lose 2023 Oyo gubernatorial poll’

When Jesus of Nazareth warned against false prophets who would approach his disciples in sheep’s clothing, he was undoubtedly alluding to contemporary pastors, notably those in Nigeria who claim to hear and speak in the name of God.

Some prophets present themselves as direct representatives of God and assert that they possess the ability to converse with celestial creatures. They lack any divine abilities. They merely fool their hordes of followers into thinking they have some sort of supernatural talent or are able to ascertain God’s true will.

Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Saturday, March 18 organized gubernatorial and state assemblies elections across the 36 states in the country except some states like Osun, Ekiti, Ondo, Edo, Anambra where they’ve had gubernatorial elections in the past.

The Executive Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde

In Oyo State, the electoral body officially declared Seyi Makinde, the incumbent governor of the state winner of the gubernatorial election held in the state.

Makinde polled a total of 563,617 votes while his closest rival, Sen. Teslim Folarin scored 251,230. Adebayo Adelabu of the Accord came a distant third polling 38,757.

Following the completion of Oyo governorship election, WITHIN NIGERIA compiled a list of Nigerian pastors who claimed that God told them that the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Seyi Makinde will not win or be re-elected as Oyo State Governor.

Prophet Moses Olagunju

The General Overseer of Divine Seed of God Chapel Ministries, Prophet Moses Olagunju also prophecised that Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde would not be re-elected in 2023.

L-R Popular radio presenter, Kolawole Olootu Adabanija, Prophet Moses Olagunju

The cleric claimed that he prophesied victory for Makinde in 2009, which later come to pass 10 years after.

According to Ibadan-based cleric, chairman of the Governor’s advisory council, Senator Hosea Agboola and former Commissioner for Budget, Niyi Farinto are aware of the 2009 prophesy.

Speaking while featuring on Parrot Xtra/Ayekooto anchored by Olayinka Agboola on Splash 105.5FM, Ibadan, Olagunju, the General Overseer of Divine Seed of God Chapel Ministries, Ibadan said his prophecy is not because the Governor denied him attention but based on what God told him

He said: “I fasted for Governor Seyi Makinde for 45 days and nights for him to emerge as the Governor of Oyo State. Some important personalities in his government are quite aware of this even though they did not even bother to appreciate. I can mention Senator Hosea Agboola, Niyi Farinto and others.

“I predicted that Engr. Seyi Makinde will eventually emerge as the Governor of Oyo State as far back as 2009. I have all the prophesies written in a document even when he went to Social Democratic Party (SDP) I was one of the people that encouraged him to go, likewise when he joined People Democratic Party (PDP) before he eventually emerged as the Governor.

“God told me things, problems that will unfold in his administration but they refused to take my message with seriousness. He will not return for a second term.”

“As Christians, the bible does not support swearing. God said our ‘yes’ should always be our ‘yes’ and our ‘no’ should equally be our ‘no’. God knew that man is liable to error that is why He did not support swearing of an oath with the Bible.

“Most people are just going about with the Bible, it does not have any meaning to them but whosoever wants to make Heaven should always know that his or her ‘yes’ must be ‘yes’ and ‘no’ should be ‘no’.

“When God revealed a vision to an individual, it is not to frighten but to warn the persons involved to be watchful and be prayerful but so many people believe that the moment a prophet releases a prophecy he is only seeking after popularity and wealth. I do not release prophecy to frighten people or to gather wealth.”

PROPHECY CHECK:

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Seyi Makinde, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) winner after polling 563,617 votes.

Primate Ayodele

The Leader Of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Ayodele issued a warning prophecy where he gave Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde certain conditions he must fulfill before he can emerged victoriously in the just concluded gubernatorial election in the state.

According to Primate Ayodele, if Seyi Makinde does not fulfill these conditions such as abandoning the G-5 governors fold and working for the emergence of presidential candidate of his party, Atiku Abubakar, he would experience political failure.

Primate Ayodele

According to Primate Ayodele, God had revealed to him that if Seyi Makinde does not halt what he’s doing with the G-5 governors, it can ruin his chances to be re-elected as governor of Oyo state.

He stressed that although Seyi Makinde, the governor of Oyo State, is doing his best and is popular, his relationship with the G-5 governors will hurt his chances if he doesn’t break it off before the polls.

Ayodele the primate said: “Seyi Makinde, put an end to your efforts with the G-5 governors immediately to avoid failure.” Seyi Makinde, heed my warning and open your eyes. The G-5 governors have no respect for God. They have no knowledge of God. It is terrible that the G-5 governors don’t see anything wrong with what they are doing. “Wike, I’m just sending this to you as a final caution since you’re losing politically.”

PROPHECY CHECK:
