Cindy Of Oshodi

The internet never forgets, and that’s a big problem for many influencers today. Cindy of Oshodi is the latest person facing this reality after private videos from 2019 surfaced online.

But opinions clashed when she spoke directly to her followers, explaining what reportedly led to her actions.

Who Is Cindy of Oshodi

Cindy of Oshodi is one of the growing TikTok creators who build followings through short, relatable videos and everyday content. She dedicated her content to dancing to Kizz Daniel’s songs.

She wasn’t among the biggest names, but she had enough presence to be recognisable within her space. That visibility is part of what made the story explode.

Because on today’s internet, you don’t need to be the most famous person, just a moment is enough to go viral.

What Actually Happened

At the center of it all was a leaked private video, reportedly around 13 minutes long, showing the TikToker with an unidentified man. Shortly after, parts 2 and 3 of the TikToker having a threesome were posted. It appears to have been uploaded on an adult website and has sparked intense reactions from netizens. The clip, which circulated widely after appearing on social media platforms, immediately triggered intense reactions.

Many fans have criticized Cindy of Oshodi, questioning her statements and the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Some have argued that there’s no excuse for making such a video to survive, while others have expressed disappointment.

Her Response

Cindy did not disappear when the crisis hit. Instead, she came out and spoke openly in an emotional video. She explained that the videos were old, recorded between 2019 and 2020, long before she became popular on TikTok. According to her, that period of her life was very difficult. She said she was broke, confused, and had little guidance, and that her choices at the time came from trying to survive.

She also apologised to her fans and family. She admitted that she had let people down and said she was truly sorry. She tried to explain that she was not making excuses, but wanted people to understand her situation and show her some mercy.

In her words, she said she had planned to stay silent, but decided to speak because of those who still support her. She told them:

”Initially, I would not even say anything about this whole thing, but for the people who still genuinely love me no matter what, despite everything, I am making this for you. So, first of all, I am really sorry for disappointing you”.

“I know some of you may not expect this from me. But, you see that sh*t was 2019/2020 things. And I take full responsibility, and I fully regret it. But I tell you that you people cannot relate.

“If I open a GoFundMe now and asked you people to start donating because I am broke. Everybody would laugh at me. As of then, I knew nothing.”

She also warned that more videos could come out, suggesting that someone may be trying to use her past against her. Since then, people have reacted in different ways. Some are still critical, but many others have shown sympathy.

Closing

Cindy of Oshodi’s story is not just about a viral scandal. It shows how the internet never forgets and how quickly the past can return.

Instead of running away, she chose to face it. She spoke about what she went through and connected her past to real struggles like money problems and lack of guidance. That made some people look beyond the scandal and see her as a person, not just a headline. It however did not deter others who stated that such means are inappropriate, no matter the circumstances. The bottom line is, the internet never forgets.
