MultiChoice Nigeria has announced that the 2026 edition of the Big Brother Naija reality show will begin on Sunday, July 26.
The organisers disclosed the development during a press briefing on Wednesday, stating that the winner of the new season will receive a grand prize of N160 million.
The N160 million reward represents the largest prize package offered since the programme debuted in 2006.
The organisers recently screened applicants for the 11th season of BBNaija. The physical auditions were held from May 22 to 24 in Lagos, Abuja and Enugu.
The audition was free and opened only to persons aged 21 and above with a valid means of identification.
Opeyemi Ayanwale, popularly known as Imisi, won the last edition on October 5, 2025.
She defeated 28 other housemates to claim the grand prize valued at N150 million, including N80 million cash and an SUV.
