BBNaija Season 11 housemate Nomy disqualified over repeated rule violations

BBNaija Nomy's disqualification

Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate, Nomy, has been disqualified from the reality television show for repeatedly defying Big Brother’s instructions, rules and punishments.

The disqualification was announced on Monday, September 7, 2026, after Big Brother addressed the housemates following the nomination process.

According to reports, Big Brother’s decision was linked to Nomy’s conduct while serving as the week’s “Bench Warmer.” She had been assigned the punishment after recording the worst performance in the Head of House games.

As part of the punishment, Nomy was required to wear a designated vest and use an assigned bench as her seat, except during permitted activities. However, she reportedly left the bench and vest behind in the arena after being instructed to take them with her.

Big Brother also referred to Nomy’s previous disciplinary record. She had received a strike in August for repeatedly defying his instructions, which he described at the time as her “last and final warning.”

Following the latest incident, Big Brother informed Nomy that her right to participate in the competition had been revoked and gave her 30 minutes to pack her belongings and leave the house.

Nomy’s exit was a disqualification rather than a regular eviction through the public voting process. Her departure therefore came as a direct disciplinary decision by Big Brother.

The 2026 edition of BBNaija, themed “Show Ya Sef” premiered on July 26 with 24 housemates competing for a ₦160 million grand prize. Nomy’s disqualification adds another unexpected development to the ongoing season.
