2023: APC lawmaker preaches team work, cautions against anti-party activities

A member representing Kokona West Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Danladi Jatau, has urged members of All Progressives Congress (APC) to embrace teamwork for the victory of the party beyond 2023.

Jatau, who is the Chairman, House Committee on Public Complaints, Petition and Security, made the call during a meeting with APC stakeholders of Bassa ward, Kokona Local Government Area of the state.

He said that if members of the party remain united, it would ensure the victory of the party at all levels.

The lawmaker said that the meeting was aimed at discussing ways forward on how to ensure the victory of the party in the area.

He assured them of continued quality representation if voted for another term in 2023.

Jatau called on his constituents and other people of the state to continue to support the APC to succeed.

He also urged them to get their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) in order to vote for him, Gov. Abdullahi Sule, and APC candidates.

The lawmaker appreciated the stakeholders for endorsing him and Sule for re-election.

He further called on the people of his constituency to live in peace and tolerate one another irrespective of their affiliations for development to thrive.

A stakeholder, Ado Dauda, House of Assembly aspirant in the recently conducted primaries, Bala Akuki, among other stakeholders, passed a vote of confidence on the governor and Jatau.

They said that Sule and the lawmaker have done a lot in the areas of infrastructure, security, employment, and empowerment, among others, hence the need for their endorsement.

“We will support His Excellency and Hon. Jatau to succeed beyond 2023,” Dauda said.

On his part, Akuki assured Sule and Jatau of their prayers, loyalty, and support to succeed beyond 2023.

The News Agency of Nigeria ( NAN) reports that the meeting was attended by other stakeholders, including politicians.
