Nigerian rap artiste, PsychoYP to unveil “classic mixtape series”

Nicholas Ihua-Maduenyi, a Nigerian Rap Star, has said that he will unveil a classic mixtape series entitled YPSZN3 on Nov. 4.

The rap star who is known with the stage name “PsychoYP”, said that the project is the third and final instalment of his “critically acclaimed YPSZN series”.

PsychoYP, in a statement signed by his manager, Fi’ammari Zoaka, he said that the series would be released via Apex Village and OneRPM.

According to him, the stage name ,PsychoYP, brings his progressive and assorted sound that cuts across rap, tap, grime, drill and R&B music to the forefront.

PsychoYP has grown to become a cultural icon in Nigeria, as well as one of the leaders of Nigeria’s new wave of rap music, having been crowned the best rapper in Africa by The Native.

The Native is described as the Fresh Prince of Nigerian Rap by Culture Custodian and championed by the likes of Complex, Rolling Stone and Wonderland, he said.

Furthermore, he said that he had no fewer than 30 million plays online and that he was a 2020 Headies Award nominee for Best Rap Album.

I was named Spotify’s Face of Naija Bars’ playlist. The name PsychoYP already boasts to be one of the best rap discographies on the continent.

It is about being taken a few years up with this new release, he said.
