NBC bans Ric Hassani’s song, ‘Thunder Fire You’

Singer Ric Hassani’s ‘Thunder Fire You’ song has been banned by National Broadcasting Commission (NBC).

Born Ikechukwu Eric Ahiauzu, the 32-year-old revealed this in a tweet on Friday.

He said any radio station that plays it would be fined.

“So, the NBC has banned my song ‘Thunder Fire You’ and are fining radio stations that play it. Interesting,” he wrote.

‘Thunder Fire You’ was released on February 12.

Some of the lyrics include, “Thunder fire you

For all the lies you told me

Thunder fire you

For when you cheated on me

Thunder fire you

You never did deserve me

In other gist, popular Nigerian singer, Naira Marley speaks on his  plans for Nigerians if he becomes President.

Speaking via a video, Naira Marley declared that he would provide 24hrs of electricity, ban alcohol and legalise weed in order to discourage men from beating up their wives.

The ‘Marlian’ President stressed that he would ensure the supply of electricity is guaranteed and will promote unity among different religions and tribes if he becomes president.
