Asides music, he deals in real estate, owns an Oil and Gas company called Mavin Energy Limited which he started with his brother and co-owns a Free Wi-Fi service called Flobyt — in partnership with Dele Odufeye.

3.Eva Alordiah

Elohor Eva Alordiah, better known as Eva Alordiah or simply Eva, is a woman of many talents who recently revealed why she quit music. Eva is a rapper, entertainer, make-up artist, fashion designer and entrepreneur. Eva is also a successful book author. She wrote her first book 11 (eleven) in 2016. It’s made of up 11 short stories about sex. Simply put, it’s a collection of semi-erotic stories.

Her second book, published in 2018, is another fiction about two teenage girls who are beaten and raped on a Monday morning in a local school and a group of marijuana dealers are the suspects. It’s titled How I Started my Monday? I was Smoking Weed. Eva also has a functional podcast.

4. P-Square

Peter and Paul Okoye of P-Square group have individual side hustles as well as joint.

Peter Okoye, aka Mr P owns a popular sports betting company. He recently launched his gin company called APHRO. Mr P has also been in the beverage and bottling business for a couple of years. He is said to own a multi-million naira factory in Lagos — a subsidiary of P-Classic Group (PCG), a fast-growing and dynamic company owned by Peter Okoye.

5. Yemi Alade

The beautiful and talented lady who is popular both home and abroad for her voluminous hair style, good music, reverberating dance moves and Ankara fabric wears is the 3rd most followed artiste in Africa on Instagram and the most followed woman on Instagram. She is an influencer who loves what she does.

In 2015, Yemi announced her jewelry line, Yemi Alade collection, which was a collection of an exclusive range of jewelry inspired by her career and personality.

In 2016, one of her pieces was worn by U.S singer, Trey Songz which she posted on her social media. There haven’t been recent posts on it. She hasn’t made any recent post about it.

Iconic Nigerian artiste 2Baba is a fabulous musician and talented businessman. Since hitting the spotlight well over 20 years ago, his knack for business has continued to grow.

He has ventured into the real estate business and is also a club owner. He reportedly owns ‘Rumours’ — a club with branches in Ikeja GRA, Festac Town and now Victoria Island. He is also a farmer with large farm land in Benue.

7. D’Banj

The Koko Master might be struggling musically but his bank account keeps getting on the rise. D’Banj has leveraged the ‘Koko’ brand to come up with successful ventures like the Koko Garri, Koko water etc. The success of his business can also be attributed to his huge endorsement deals with power brands like the Bank of Industry. He reportedly owns a cocoa farm in Ghana.

Dbanj also owns a Night Club, Koko Lounge, which appears not to be trending any more; he had also owned a mobile phone, Kokomobile, which did not fly either.

But in December 2021, D’Banj launched his perfume line, named after him.

8. Mr Eazi

Mr Eazi has always been a businessman, Before the music and fame, he sold gold ornaments and other stuffs in Ghana and organize campus rave parties. He and his business partner also ran a now defunct phone trading company which got about $30,000 from investors. He quit the business due to co-founder issues.

He currently owns another phone trading and repair startup which he runs in partnership with Airtel Nigeria. Eazi owns a betting company as well.

9. Harrysong

Being the most sought-after act at some point in one’s career definitely comes with some good paycheck and this we want to assume Harrysong put into good use.

While dealing with the fact that his career is not as illuminating as it was once, the singer recently revealed he has a side hustle; farming. A revelation the singer made himself on social media.

10. Ajebutter

Akitoye Balogun, aka, Ajebutter22 is known for his smooth soothing raps which he delivers with his unique low pitch voice. However, when he is not making magic, the rapper goes on with his day job.

Between February and November 2015 he worked at Gamesole, Renaissance AMC, and Stanbic IBTC. The Graduate of Petroleum Engineering (B.Eng) and Engineering Project Management (M.Eng)  later spent 4 years at global IT company, Cisco where he managed their strategic & technology partnerships with behemoths, including Microsoft, Orange Business, etc. He currently works at Pave Investment ltd as Head of Business Development.
